Advisory weather

There is a very simple weather station situated on the Popham AGCS desk. This gives the desk operator advice on precipitation, sun, winds, gusts, barometer trends and also a calculated estimate of the cloud base. All of the desk operators are pilots but any information given will be purely advisory.

The Southampton Weather Center provides a host of useful information including wind, weather radar, rainfall, METARS, etc.
